Foundation and waterproofing work in Eagle
Eagle sits right up against the Kettle Moraine State Forest Southern Unit, and the ground shows it. Hills, kettles and glacial ridges mean a lot of homes here are built into a slope, with a walkout on the low side and a full buried wall on the high side. That uphill wall takes everything: snowmelt, storm runoff, and the steady push of wet clay. The walkout side has its own trouble when water sheets down the yard and pools against the door.
Walls built into a hill tend to crack and bow on the uphill side first, so that's where we usually start. Carbon fiber straps or steel I-beams bring a moving wall under control, then exterior waterproofing with a membrane, dimple board and new weeping tile deals with the water that comes down the slope. Interior drain tile to a sump with battery backup works well where a dig would be too steep. We also handle interior sealing, egress windows and steel support beams, and we pull permits when the Village of Eagle requires one.
