Foundation and waterproofing work in Hartland
Hartland grew out from its historic downtown along the Bark River, and the basements follow that pattern. The older homes near the village center often have block or stone foundations with mortar joints that have loosened over many winters, plus original drains that stopped working long ago. Low ground near the river can also stay wet after snowmelt. Around that core, newer subdivisions house a lot of Lake Country commuters, with poured walls that mostly show vertical cracks and seepage at the floor joint.
We are a family crew from Waukesha, doing this since 1998, and Hartland is an easy drive for us. We can fit around a commuter schedule, with Saturday hours and same-week appointments common. The fix depends on the house: repointing and sealing an old wall, bracing a bowing one with carbon fiber or steel beams, a new perimeter drain and sump pump, digging to the footing for exterior waterproofing, or an egress window. When the Village of Hartland requires a permit, we pull it.
