Interior Drain Tile for River Hills homes
River Hills homes are big, and so are their basements. A custom house on a wooded acreage lot can have far more foundation wall than an average suburban home, and much of that lower level is often finished with a theater, a bar or a guest suite. Long driveways, stone patios and years of careful landscaping wrap around the outside. When water starts showing up in one corner, the last thing anyone wants is an excavator in the yard.
Interior drain tile solves the water problem without touching any of it. We trench along the inside perimeter, lay perforated pipe in washed stone below the slab, and slope the runs to one or more sealed sump crocks, each with a pump and a battery backup. On a long foundation, the layout matters, so we plan where the crocks sit and how the tile falls to keep every wall draining well.
Finished space gets careful handling. We open only the strip along the wall where the trench goes, protect floors and furniture, and clean up each day. Nick or Luis will walk the whole lower level with you, check the walls for movement, and give you a written quote with the runs and pumps laid out. With the Milwaukee River passing through the village, we plan for spring water. If the Village of River Hills requires a permit, we pull it.
